In April 2005, democracy activists in 20 Chinese provinces were summoned for trial and harassed after they supported the New York 'One Million People Quit the CCP' parade. Among these activists were:
Zeng Ning Li Renke (Guizhou province) Hu Jia Zhao Xin (Beijing) Li Guotao (Shanghai) Chen Liangqing (Anhui) Feng Jianxing (Xinjiang) Liu Feiyue (Hubei) Chen Xiaochang (Xianing) Li Xiaolong Xue Zhenbiao (Guangxi) Huang Xiaomin (Sichuan) Leng Wanbao (Jilin) Wang Wenjiang (Liaoning) Quan Li (Heilongjiang) Xu Gaojin (Jiangxi) Yang Tianshui (Nanjing) Chen Shuqing (Zhejiang) Wang Fengshan (Gansu)

CHICAGO - Wang Bin, a reporter for the Beijing Epoch Times and a Falun Gong practitioner, successfully escaped the arrest of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) through the efforts of supporters outside China and arrived in Chicago at the beginning of 2005 after experiencing three years of purgatory under the regime of the CCP.
His arrival in the U.S. allowed details about the mass arrest of Epoch Times staff in China to be reported for the first time, details that had been covered up by CCP for five years. These arrests were ordered by Jiang Zemin, the CCP’s General Secretary at the time, and Li Lanqing and Luo Gan, both heads of the 6-10 Office, a Gestapo-like agency that was set up to persecute Falun Gong. At least a dozen people were illegally sentenced to heavy punishment for the alleged crime of “subverting the political power of the state.” This is a typical example how the CCP has trampled on human rights and repressed the freedom of the press. Sun Bin, grandnephew of the "Father of Modern China," Sun Yat-Sen, reveals that a death threat against him by the CCP motivated his announcement to firmly encourage Chinese to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Last week, the Chinese edition of The Epoch Times had a three-day series of exclusive reports about an alias "Axiang" who disclosed the recent activities of the CCP Central Liaison Office in Hong Kong (the Liaison Office). According to Axiang, the Liaison Office has interviewed him to discover if Sun Bin is participating in the "withdraw from the CCP movement" and indicated their intention to treat Sun the same way they treated Albert Ho.
The Liaison Office hinted that last year's gang attack on Ho, the Democratic Party Chairman and also Member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, was because Ho protested the live organ removal of Falun Gong Practitioners by the CCP and supported the Human Rights movement in China.
