A volunteer at a service center in the western United States, Mrs. Yang, is in her seventies and was a teacher before she retired. She has been making phone calls and encouraging Chinese people to withdraw from the CCP day and night since 2004. With her help, over 6,500 people have published withdrawal statements in The Epoch Times over the past four years. Not long ago, when Yang was returning a phone call, she spoke to a man, who then passed the phone to a woman. “The man is my bodyguard,” the woman explained. With information, Yang immediately realized that the woman must not be an everyday person. “I heard the answering machine message about quitting the CCP. May I withdraw from it?” asked the woman, adding, “Do you know who I am? I am a County Party Secretary. May I quit the CCP?” Yang laughed. She told the woman that 25 higher ranking party members from the Shang Dong CCP Party School declared their withdrawal statements jointly. Yang said that when there were also military officers who have withdrawn, saying, “We want to defend our country, not the Communist Party.” “It’s fine if you’re a County Party Secretary,” Yang assured the woman. “Of course you can quit!” . The Party Secretary was listening closely to Yang as she explained that as a leader at the grass-roots level, she should be even clearer about the corruption of the Communist government. “Under the rule of the CCP, thousands of workers lost their jobs; corrupt officials have seized peasants’ lands; many stock market investors have lost their shirts. Do you still want to follow this party? Is it worthwhile? Please decide to withdraw from it as soon as possible,” stated Yang.
“Do you know my salary, 8,000 Yuan (about US $1,500) per month?” asked the Party Secretary “It doesn’t matter how much you make,” Yang responded. “Can money guarantee your future?” Yang added that about 1.08 million children of high-ranking communist officials have migrated overseas, bringing with them illicit money according to official figures released by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. “They know better than most that the collapse of the Communist Party is just a matter of time, so they’ve managed to leave themselves this escape route,” said Yang. “One good return deserves another,” Yang continued. “The CCP has committed terrible crimes without end and will soon be destroyed by Heaven. If you’re involved with this organization, won’t you also meet the same fate?
